Dr. Paul Kittle and Dr. Jennifer Kirwan are co-owners of The Smile Centre'. Dr. Kittle, our Pediatric Dentist, founded The Smile Centre', then known as Children's Dentistry, upon his retirement from the US Army Dental Corps as a Colonel in 1994. Dr. Jennifer Kirwan, co-partner of The Smile Centre, created the perfect answer to the MOST asked question in Dr. Kittle’s exclusive pediatric office, “I trust my children’s care here. Why can’t you see adults too?!” Our answer and Dr. Kirwan’s adult dental practice was born in 2004 after an expansion and remodel was made to the pediatric practice. The Smile Centre also offers state-of–the-art dental treatment for ADULTS!! Drs Kittle and Kirwan are ecstatic that the wonderfully talented Dr. Beverly Moon joined the Smile Centre’ in August 2011! She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry, has completed a general practice residency in New York City and has been in private practice for 4 years before relocating to the Kansas City area and joining our Team. Dr. Moon will be treating adults and children. Our unique office design consists of a fun and kid-friendly pediatric clinic as well as a modern and elegant dental clinic with spa amenities. Dr. Paul Kittle attended the University of Connecticut where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He attended Dental School at Creighton University in Omaha on a military scholarship. Following graduation, he entered the U.S. Army where he completed a general practice internship and later attended the University of Texas at San Antonio for his postgraduate training in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Kittle held Chief of Pediatric Dentistry positions at many assignments. His career culminated when he was chosen to the Program Director for the U.S. Army’s Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program at Fort Lewis, WA. At the time of his retirement as a Colonel in August 1994, Dr. Kittle was one of only two pediatric dentists on active duty to hold the “A” prefix awarded by the Surgeon General for expertise in the field of pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Kittle is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Society of Dentistry for Children, and the American Dental Association. He is a past trustee of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and one of only approximately 2,000 pediatric dentists in the United States who are Board Certified.
He and his wife, Linda, a nurse at Munson Army Community Hospital are permanent residents of Leavenworth. They have two sons, Chris and Zach, who both serve in the United States Army as an oral maxillofacial surgeon and an engineer, respectively. Dr. and Mrs. Kittle enjoy keeping up with their two young grandsons, Logan and Liam!

Cindy S. Cindy has been with The Smile Centre since 1996. She has been the Office Manager since 1998 and the "heart" of the practice ever since. Cindy is an army brat having been born at Ft. Leavenworth. She spent 30 years as a proud Army wife (Col Michael) and is the mother of three successful adult children, Michael, Matthew and Susie. Cindy enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren and looks forward to adding a few more! |

Jenny P. Jenny P. is an experienced Dental Assistant who has been with The Smile Centre since June ’99. She is currently certified in expanded functions and nitrous oxide. Jenny is originally from the Leavenworth area, but currently resides in Kansas City. Jenny loves working out, hanging with family and friends, and being outdoors. She has recently started to travel and looks forward to many more adventures. Jenny has a caring, charismatic personality and she truly enjoys providing a wonderful dental experience for the children and their parents. |

Pam Pam, a native New Yorker has been with us since 2002 as the Pediatric Scheduling Coordinator. She was an Army wife for 20 years and traveled the world with her husband, Phil and family. A former elementary school teacher, Pam also was a fundraiser for the Leavenworth Catholic schools before joining the Smile Centre. She has 2 adult daughters, Maureen and Christine, son-in-law, Mike, and 2 wonderful grandchildren, Katie and Jack. Pam's favorite part of the job is getting to know all our patients and families. Her bubbly and vivacious personality make her the “Smile” in The Smile Centre’. |

Jenny T. Jenny T joined our team in 2001. She took a leave of absence to be a full time mom and lucky for us, she re-joined the team! She and her husband Dustan have one daughter, Emma. Jenny T. has completed expanded function training and specialized training in nitrous oxide. Her love for her job in dentistry has motivated her to pursue her education and is currently taking courses towards her dental hygiene degree. In her spare time Jenny T. enjoys spending time with her family, camping, and boating at the lake. Jenny T's pleasant manner and positive outlook make her appealing to the little patients as well as her coworkers. |

Pat O. Pat, our wonderful records clerk, is a long time Leavenworth resident. She was born in Chicago and moved to Leavenworth with her grandparents who were in the US Army. Pat graduated from Leavenworth High School, has been married for many years to her husband George, a Minister of Bethel A.M.E. Church and has 2 grown children, Nichole and Will, and 1 grandson whom she truly loves and adores! Pat has been in the dental field for more than 20 years. She enjoys her grandson, shopping, eating and being a lifetime member of Bethel A.M.E. Church. |

Kelly Kelly joined The Smile Centre in 2005. Prior to being a dental assistant she was an accomplished hairdresser for 13 years. Kelly graduated from Concorde Career College and has been certified in expanded functions and nitrous oxide. Kelly enjoys working with kids of all ages and especially loves assisting with orthodontics and emergency cases. Kelly has two wonderful boys who she loves spending time with. |

Alisha M. Alisha is a native Leavenworthian and has been with the Smile Centre since 2007. She is ecstatic to work locally after commuting 15 years to Kansas City, MO! She is our resident insurance guru and enjoys sharing insight in how to best maximize patients’ insurance benefits. Alisha is married to a commercial pilot and has five children. |

Jessica L. Jessica, our newest Dental Assistant, has been with The Smile Centre since October 2009. Jessica continually seeks to expand her knowledge in order to provide the children with the care that they deserve. She is certified in the use of nitrous oxide and will be attending Expanded Functions courses in the Fall of 2011. Jessica has an infectious smile! |

Kindra W. Kindra joined The Smile Centre as our Sterilization Technician in December 2010. She has past dental experience and is from the state of Nebraska! Kindra enjoys working around children in the open and child friendly environment. Her hometown is Weston, MO. She is married and has four children. Kindra enjoys spending time with her family and taking walks at the state park. |
